A Great Season Ends Too Soon:
South Oldham 3 Eastern 1
The Boys Varsity Team continued their quest to make history only
to have South Oldham turn them back. Playing on the friendly
confines of EHS's home field was not enough this time as the
Dragons ended the Eagles hopes to advance to State. South Oldham
is a terrific team and controlled the ball for most of the first
half. Still Eastern had their chances. However, the
Dragons created more chances and capitalized on their scoring
opportunities. The boys battled until the end but it was not
enough. Nonetheless, Coaches Hawes, Robb and Gillum were
extremely proud of the effort of these young men the entire
season, especially the six Seniors. |
